Founded as an organ of scientific expression of the Institute of Animal Husbandry of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Córdoba in 1952, it is the oldest Spanish Journal of Animal Production. Today is the official journal of the American Association of Zootechnics and the Spanish Society for Animal Genetic Resources (SERGA) and is aimed at researchers, technicians and crop-livestock entrepreneurs from more than 70 countries through its electronic edition with access from the entire world.In general, everything related to Animal Production with special attention to disadvantaged areas and the development of their local breeds. It has an SJR impact factor of 0,142.
