The Journal of the Geological Society of Spain is an open access biannual publication of the Geological Society of Spain. This journal publishes original research contributions in Spanish or English that cover all Earth Science topics, in particular those concerning the Iberian Peninsula and surrounding areas. The submitted papers must be original research papers that have not been published (totally or partially) elsewhere, in any language. All the papers are reviewed by a minimum of two referees and by the Editorial Board. It has an SJR impact factor of 0,168.
