The journal Clinical Oral Investigations is a multidisciplinary, international forum for publication of research from all fields of oral medicine. The journal publishes original scientific articles and invited reviews which provide up-to-date results of basic and clinical studies in oral and maxillofacial science and medicine. The aim is to clarify the relevance of new results to modern practice, for an international readership. Coverage includes maxillofacial and oral surgery, prosthetics and restorative dentistry, operative dentistry, endodontics, periodontology, orthodontics, dental materials science, clinical trials, epidemiology, pedodontics, oral implant, preventive dentistiry, oral pathology, oral basic sciences and more.Clinical Oral Investigations is an organ of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Zahn-, Mund- und Kieferheilkunde and the European Federation of Conservative Dentistry Why publish with us With a continuous increase of our indexing metrics over the past years, we are one of the leading clinical journals in the field of oral and maxillofacial science and medicine. We welcome original scientific articles and invited reviews in all areas of our field, including maxillofacial and oral surgery, prosthetics and restorative dentistry, operative dentistry, and more. We are the official journal of the German Society of Dentistry and Oral Medicine (DGZMK) and the European Federation of Conservative Dentistry (EFCD). It has an SJR impact factor of 0,942.
