Developmental Cell launched in 2001 as a journal intended to bridge the disciplines of cell biology and developmental biology. The scope of the journal now encompasses not only both cell biology and developmental biology but also all of the diverse fields that interface with these two disciplines. Our PhD-trained scientific editors work with authors, reviewers, and editorial board members to publish exciting research that advances our fundamental understanding of how cells, tissues, and organism It has an SJR impact factor of 5,385.
