Studies that are based on model organisms will be considered as long as they are directly relevant to human disease. J Mol Med is the continuation of the Berliner Klinische Wochenschrift (1864), one of the oldest and most prestigious European journals in which great scientists such as Paul Ehrlich, Robert Koch and Otto Warburg published their seminal, epoch-making discoveries.
