The Journal of Seed Science (JSS) is a continuation of RBS and begins to be published with this new name and with new rules from 2013. The main objectives of this change are to increase the quality of the Brazilian scientific publications in this research field and increase their availability in the international scientific community; and as consequence allow the increase of its impact factor. The periodicity of the JSS will be quarterly; however, special editions may be published. The Editorial Board is composed of two Editors and Associate Editors, as well as by a body of Scientific Assessors. It has an SJR impact factor of 0,358.
